Les serveurs Lotus Domino (versions 5.0.4 et 5.0.7) s'exécutant sous Linux sont affectés par un dépassement de tampon (buffer overflow). Un utilisateur local peut obtenir ents privilèges root en fournissant une variable d'environnement PATH ou Notes_ExecDirectory d'une taille excessive. Cette attaque est facile à exécuter et ne nécessite qu'un accès local au shell, sans authentification particulière.
