Les anciennes versions de l'utilitaire `uudecode` du paquet `sharutils` sont vulnérables à une faille d'écrasement de fichiers. Un attaquant qui parvient à vous inciter à décoder un fichier malveillant peut écraser des fichiers système critiques ou exécuter des commandes arbitraires en exploitant des liens symboliques ou des pipes. Cette attaque nécessite un accès local au système, mais peut être réalisée sans authentification.
