Les produits de voix Cisco utilisant l'agent IBM Director sur des serveurs IBM (versions antérieures à l'OS 2000.2.6) sont affectés par un contournement critique de l'authentification. Un attaquant distant peut obtenir des privilèges d'administrateur complets en se connectant simplement au port TCP 14247. Aucune authentification ni interaction de l'utilisateur n'est requise, ce qui rend l'exploitation triviale si le port est exposé sur le réseau.

The default installation of Cisco voice products, when running the IBM Director Agent on IBM servers before OS 2000.2.6, does not require authentication, which allows remote attackers to gain administrator privileges by connecting to TCP port 14247.
