AmaroK Web Frontend 1.3 laisse un fichier de configuration contenant des identifiants de base de données accessible au public. Un attaquant distant peut simplement demander ce fichier via un navigateur web pour voler le nom d'utilisateur et le mot de passe de la base de données. Cette exploitation ne nécessite ni authentification ni privilèges particuliers, ce qui la rend très facile à réaliser si le logiciel est exposé au réseau.
