Les utilisateurs d'America Online (AOL) 9.0 Security Edition sont concernés par une faille dans le contrôle ActiveX PicDownloadCtrl. Un attaquant distant peut exécuter du code arbitraire sur votre système en provoquant un dépassement de tampon via une propriété spécifique. Cette attaque est relativement facile à réaliser car elle ne nécessite aucune authentification et peut être lancée via le réseau.
