Les versions plus anciennes de Mozilla Firefox, Thunderbird et SeaMonkey sont touchées par une faille de corruption de mémoire dans le moteur du navigateur. Un attaquant distant non authentifié peut l'exploiter en incitant un utilisateur à visiter un site web malveillant, ce qui pourrait provoquer le plantage de l'application ou l'exécution de code arbitraire sur le système. Comme elle ne nécessite aucun privilège particulier et est facile à déclencher via un réseau, elle représente un risque important pour les installations non mises à jour.
