Les anciennes versions de Mozilla Firefox, Thunderbird et SeaMonkey sont affectées par des problèmes de corruption de mémoire dans leurs moteurs de navigation. Un attaquant distant pourrait exploiter ces failles pour faire planter l'application ou exécuter du code arbitraire sur votre système. Cette attaque est facile à réaliser et ne nécessite ni authentification ni privilèges particuliers ; elle est généralement déclenchée en incitant l'utilisateur à visiter un site web malveillant.

Multiple unspecified vulnerabilities in the browser engine in Mozilla Firefox 3.5.x before 3.5.19 and 3.6.x before 3.6.17, Thunderbird before 3.1.10, and SeaMonkey before 2.0.14 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption and application crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via unknown vectors.
