Les versions plus anciennes de Mozilla Firefox, Thunderbird et SeaMonkey sont touchées par un défaut de gestion de la mémoire. Un attaquant peut exécuter du code arbitraire sur votre système en vous incitant à ouvrir une page web ou un document spécialement conçu à cet effet. Cette attaque est facile à réaliser et ne nécessite ni authentification ni privilèges particuliers, seulement que la victime consulte un lien malveillant.

Use-after-free vulnerability in the nsXULCommandDispatcher function in Mozilla Firefox before 3.6.18, Thunderbird before 3.1.11, and SeaMonkey through 2.0.14 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted XUL document that dequeues the current command updater.
