Les versions de Google Chrome antérieures à la 10.0.648.127 permettent à des sites web de contourner les restrictions du bac à sable (sandbox) pour manipuler ou fermer la fenêtre principale du navigateur. Un attaquant distant non authentifié peut déclencher cela simplement en incitant un utilisateur à visiter une page malveillante. Une fois la page chargée, l'attaquant peut rediriger la session de l'utilisateur ou forcer la fermeture du navigateur.
