Les versions de Google Chrome antérieures à la 10.0.648.127 sont affectées par une erreur de gestion de la mémoire lors du traitement des curseurs SVG. Un attaquant distant non authentifié peut provoquer le plantage du navigateur ou potentiellement exécuter des actions non autorisées en incitant simplement un utilisateur à visiter un site web malveillant. Comme cela ne nécessite aucun privilège particulier et est facile à déclencher via un réseau, cela représente un risque important pour les installations de navigateurs obsolètes.
