Google Chrome (avant la version 10.0.648.204) et Apple Safari (avant la version 5.0.6) sont affectés par une faille dans la manière dont le moteur WebKit gère la structure des pages. Un attaquant distant peut exploiter cette vulnérabilité en vous incitant à visiter un site web malveillant, lui permettant ainsi de faire planter votre navigateur ou d'exécuter des scripts non autorisés dans votre session. Comme cela ne nécessite aucune authentification et peut être déclenché facilement via l'accès réseau, cela représente un risque important pour les utilisateurs de ces versions obsolètes du navigateur.
