Mozilla Firefox (avant la version 3.6.18) et Thunderbird (avant la version 3.1.11) sont affectés par des failles de corruption de mémoire dans leurs moteurs de navigation. Un attaquant peut déclencher ces bugs à distance pour faire planter l'application ou potentiellement exécuter du code arbitraire sur votre machine. Comme cela ne nécessite aucune authentification ni privilèges particuliers et qu'il est facile de les déclencher via un réseau, il s'agit d'un risque critique.
