CA Gateway Security for HTTP et CA Total Defense sont affectés par une faille dans la manière dont le service web analyse les URL. Un attaquant distant peut envoyer une requête spécialement conçue au serveur pour provoquer le plantage du service ou exécuter son propre code. Cette attaque est facile à réaliser car elle ne nécessite ni authentification ni interaction de l'utilisateur et peut être lancée via le réseau.

Icihttp.exe in CA Gateway Security for HTTP, as used in CA Gateway Security 8.1 before 8.1.0.69 and CA Total Defense r12, does not properly parse URLs, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (heap memory corruption and daemon crash) via a malformed request.
