Les versions de Google Chrome antérieures à la 35.0.1916.114 sont affectées par une faille de gestion de la mémoire dans la manière dont le navigateur traite les images SVG. Un attaquant distant non authentifié peut faire planter le navigateur ou potentiellement exécuter du code arbitraire en incitant un utilisateur à visiter un site web spécialement conçu à cet effet. Cette exploitation est relativement facile à déclencher, mais nécessite que la victime interagisse avec la page malveillante.
