Les versions 4.8.0.7 et antérieures de CHICKEN Scheme sont affectées par un dépassement de tampon dans l'unité srfi-4. Un attaquant distant et non authentifié peut faire planter l'application ou potentiellement exécuter du code arbitraire en envoyant une valeur malformée spécifique au serveur. Cette exploitation est relativement facile à réaliser car elle ne nécessite qu'un accès réseau et aucune interaction de l'utilisateur.

Buffer overflow in the "read-u8vector!" procedure in the srfi-4 unit in CHICKEN stable 4.8.0.7 and development snapshots before 4.9.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption and application crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a "#f" value in the NUM argument.
