Les anciennes versions d'Adobe Flash Player et d'Adobe AIR sur Windows, macOS et Linux sont vulnérables à la corruption de mémoire. Un attaquant distant peut exploiter cette faille pour exécuter du code arbitraire ou faire planter l'application, sans nécessiter d'authentification ni de privilèges particuliers. Comme l'attaque peut être transmise via un réseau avec une faible complexité, il suffit qu'un utilisateur visite un site web malveillant ou ouvre un fichier piégé.
