Adobe Flash Player et Adobe AIR sur Windows, macOS et Linux sont vulnérables à la corruption de mémoire. Un attaquant non authentifié peut exploiter cette faille via le réseau pour exécuter du code arbitraire ou faire planter l'application, prenant potentiellement le contrôle total du système affecté. Cette attaque est facile à déclencher et ne nécessite aucun privilège particulier ni d'authentification de l'utilisateur.
