Les versions 4.0.6 et antérieures de LibTIFF sont concernées via l'outil `tiff2rgba`. Un attaquant peut faire planter l'application ou exécuter du code arbitraire sur votre système en vous incitant à traiter une image TIFF spécialement conçue. Comme cela nécessite un accès local et une interaction de l'utilisateur (le chargement du fichier malveillant), il ne s'agit pas d'une attaque réseau à distance, mais l'exécution est facile une fois le fichier ouvert.

Multiple integer overflows in the (1) cvt_by_strip and (2) cvt_by_tile functions in the tiff2rgba tool in LibTIFF 4.0.6 and earlier, when -b mode is enabled, allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) or execute arbitrary code via a crafted TIFF image, which triggers an out-of-bounds write.
