Les versions 5.6 (antérieures à 5.6.25) et 7.x (antérieures à 7.0.10) de PHP sont concernées si elles utilisent l'extension WDDX pour traiter des données. Un attaquant distant non authentifié peut provoquer le plantage du serveur ou potentiellement exécuter des actions non autorisées en envoyant un document XML spécialement conçu contenant un horodatage invalide. Comme cela ne nécessite aucune interaction de l'utilisateur ni d'accès préalable, l'exploitation via un réseau est relativement facile.

The php_wddx_process_data function in ext/wddx/wddx.c in PHP before 5.6.25 and 7.x before 7.0.10 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (segmentation fault) or possibly have unspecified other impact via an invalid ISO 8601 time value, as demonstrated by a wddx_deserialize call that mishandles a dateTime element in a wddxPacket XML document.
