Les utilisateurs de Windows utilisant Foxit Reader ou PhantomPDF (versions antérieures à 8.1) sont concernés s'ils ont activé l'application gflags. Un attaquant peut exécuter du code arbitraire sur votre système en vous incitant à ouvrir un fichier PDF spécialement conçu contenant une image BMP malveillante. Cette attaque ne nécessite ni authentification préalable ni privilèges particuliers, bien qu'elle dépende de votre interaction avec le fichier malveillant.
