Les images Docker officielles d'Adminer antérieures à la version 4.7.0-fastcgi incluent un compte utilisateur root sans mot de passe. Un attaquant distant peut utiliser ce mot de passe vide pour obtenir un accès root complet au conteneur via le réseau, sans nécessiter d'authentification préalable ni d'interaction de l'utilisateur. Il s'agit d'une exploitation triviale qui permet un contrôle total du conteneur affecté.
