Les logiciels Hitachi Energy FOXMAN-UN et UNEM utilisent une norme de chiffrement obsolète (DES) pour protéger les identifiants des utilisateurs. Un attaquant ayant un accès local au système peut facilement déchiffrer ces identifiants pour voler des informations de connexion sensibles. Cela ne nécessite aucun privilège spécial ni interaction de l'utilisateur, rendant le processus de déchiffrement simple une fois que l'attaquant a accédé à l'appareil.
