Les commutateurs industriels des séries Siemens SCALANCE X200 et XF200 sont affectés par une génération non sécurisée des identifiants de session et des nonces dans leur interface de gestion web. Un attaquant non authentifié disposant d'un accès réseau pourrait utiliser la force brute sur ces identifiants pour détourner une session administrateur active, lui octroyant ainsi le contrôle total de la configuration de l'appareil. Cette exploitation est relativement simple à exécuter, bien qu'elle nécessite qu'un utilisateur légitime soit actuellement connecté au serveur web.

The webserver of affected devices calculates session ids and nonces in an insecure manner. This could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to brute-force session ids and hijack existing sessions.
