Le logiciel CyberPower PowerPanel Enterprise est affecté par une faille qui permet de contourner l'écran de connexion. En ajoutant un caractère caché spécifique au nom d'utilisateur par défaut « cyberpower », un attaquant non authentifié disposant d'un accès réseau peut obtenir un contrôle administratif complet du système. Cet exploit est facile à exécuter et ne nécessite aucune interaction de l'utilisateur ni d'identifiants préalables.

An authentication bypass exists on CyberPower PowerPanel Enterprise by failing to sanitize meta-characters from the username, allowing an attacker to login into the application with the default user "cyberpower" by appending a non-printable character.An unauthenticated attacker can leverage this vulnerability to log in to the CypberPower PowerPanel Enterprise as an administrator with hardcoded default credentials.
