Les installations de P4 Search antérieures à la version 2026.4.2 sont concernées si le jeton d'authentification du service a été laissé vide. Un attaquant non authentifié disposant d'un accès réseau peut exploiter cette mauvaise configuration pour obtenir des privilèges administratifs complets, compromettant potentiellement P4 Search ainsi que le serveur P4 connecté. Comme cela ne nécessite aucune interaction de l'utilisateur ni d'identifiants, l'attaque est simple à exécuter une fois le point de terminaison réseau atteint.

P4 Search prior to 2026.4.2 does not fail securely when its service authentication token is blank. In affected configurations, an unauthenticated attacker with network access can obtain the highest application privilege, potentially leading to compromise of P4 Search and the connected P4 Server.
