Le logiciel de forum MyBB est affecté par une faille dans le processus d'inscription qui permet aux attaquants de contourner le CAPTCHA de la question de sécurité. En envoyant une valeur spécifiquement conçue, un attaquant distant non authentifié peut automatiser la création de faux comptes sans avoir à résoudre le défi. Cette exploitation est facile à exécuter car elle ne nécessite aucun accès préalable ni interaction de l'utilisateur.

### Impact The registration component does not validate the text-based _Security Question_ CAPTCHA correctly, allowing attackers to bypass the challenge via a specially crafted value.
