La suite logicielle Hitachi Coding Software (version 3.3.0 et antérieures) contient des identifiants codés en dur ou des comptes cachés. Un attaquant disposant d'un accès réseau peut utiliser ces comptes secrets pour obtenir un accès complet et non autorisé au système. Cette exploitation est facile à exécuter car elle ne nécessite aucun privilège particulier, aucune interaction de l'utilisateur et aucune configuration complexe.
